 CONFIRM STATUS -- Sets confirm flag which determines whether commands and
                   parameters are repeated to the terminal.

 Parameters:  

 STATUS -- If not supplied by user, the status of CONFIRM is just switched
           Otherwise put STATUS = 'ON' or 'OFF' to force the required state.
