20 4/22/2004 Updated LAT Institution list to Lynn Cominsky Michelson   CLOSED LAT Web page updated
19 2/11/2003 Organize science workshop program on diffuse fluxes (galactic and high latitude) for September meeting.  Martin Pohl, Seth Digel, and Patrizia Caraveo September 2003 CLOSED Excellent session at Rome meeting.  Many thanks to all participants.
18 2/11/2003 Propose preliminary list of 10-20 sources to be tracked and posted on the web by LAT during year 1, along with suggestions for what types of sources might be added during subsequent years. Peter Michelson and Isabelle Grenier June 1, 2003 CLOSED Presented at Rome meeting.
17   Develop a plan to support GIs proposing for GLAST.  Allow multi-year proposals to support learning periods?  Develop a series of user workshops, etc. Jonathan Ormes September 2003 CLOSED Presented at Rome meeting.
16 2/11/2003 Provide input to Lynn Cominsky on "Magic Cubes" All SWG   CLOSED Cubes are very popular!
15 2/11/2003 SSC consider a test plan for GIs prior to real data release.  This could include EGRET data or simulated GLAST data. David Band September 2003 CLOSED Discussed at Rome meeting, discussed with GLAST Users Committee, which will "test drive" the software.  Workshops will be organized for the general community.
14 2/11//2003 SSC develop plan for archiving LAT beam test data.  Develop  end-to-end software tests and discuss usefulness of sending LAT "Mock Data Challenge" data to SSC.  David Band September 2003 CLOSED GSSC participated in DC1 and will participate in DC2.
13 2/11/2003 SSC and Project to document SSC-MOC communications during Ops. David Band, Mike Rackley March 2003 CLOSED Documented in Ops Concept document and GSSC FRD.
12 2/11/2003 SSC to add to development plan a set of user-friendly tools for simulating observations, comparing simulated results using a scanning exposure with those from a pointed observation. David Band April 2003 CLOSED Part of development plan.
11 11/14/2002 Post up-to-date description of LAT science performance parameters. Peter Michelson February 2003 CLOSED Passed on to S. Ritz.  Web page has been made, and will be updated periodically.  Linked to the LAT front website.
10 9/12/2002 Draft version 2 of Transient Policy Chuck Dermer, Isabelle Grenier February 2003 CLOSED Presented at the February sit-down meeting.  See new action item Feb 2003 above.
9 9/12/2002 Draft data protection policy for GI's and IDS's Jonathan Ormes December 2002 CLOSED Draft complete, under review.
8 7/25/2002 Update GLAST Working Group list across the mission. Neil Gehrels February 2003 CLOSED Updated, posted on the SWG page.
7 5/23/2002 Investigate sky simulation tool for mission planning. Steve Ritz   CLOSED SSC members are working on this.  Presented by David Band at the Feb 2003 meeting.
6 5/23/2002 Define Legacy program Jonathan Ormes December 2002 CLOSED The Key Projects, already defined, constitute the Legacy program.
5 5/23/2002 Report on pulsar database group Steve Thorsett February 2003 CLOSED Presented at the sit-down meeting
4 3/21/2002 How might the SSC archive and support pre-flight calibration data from LAT and GBM? David Band   CLOSED The action came about when David reported that  recent missions archive as much calibration as possible, although the archived data is ultimately unusable because the software to use it is unavailable or unusable. The SSC has decided to archive calibration data, particularly from the GBM.  The SSC will assist the GBM in doing this
3   Establish GRB subgroup of SWG: propose data and publication policies, define what SSC set of tools are needed to combine LAT and GBM data. Jonathan Ormes January 2001 CLOSED Subgroup formed.  Members are Meegan, Lichti, Dingus, Norris, and Gehrels.
2   Schedule review of software tools. Jonathan Ormes October 2002 CLOSED A review, chartered by Ormes (Project Scientist) and Michelson (LAT PI) and chaired by Frank Marshall, was conducted in September, 2002.  The report was issued on 18 October 2002.
1   Present to the SWG a list of software tools to be developed by the SSC. David Band Feb 2003 SWG meeting. CLOSED Presented at the sit-down meeting.
