Assess the tests needed to verify the requirements in the LAT Performance Spec (1 April)
There are two parts:
| Science requirements -- draft document from Eduardo et al. | |
Environmental requirements -- draft document from Martin et al. Needs improvements to the LAT PS document, ...
Also review the subsystem plans. Discussed for all subsystems, but at varying level of detail and documentation.
We also identified a missing item in the charge: the functional test plan. A draft of this exists, to be discussed today.
Produce a Calibration Plan (1 May)
A first draft for the beam test plan exists [actually, there are 3 or more different documents], but it needs more work before it is ready for review. The work thus far has concentrated on ground-based calibrations. On-orbit calibration planning has not moved forward significantly yet.
Produce an overall I&T Plan (1 June first draft, Final draft by 15 June)
The I&T flow has been discussed. Needs comments and review; must merge in calibration and test plans.
Assess top-level manpower and skills mix needed to implement the I&T plan. Rough out the schedule, top-level logistics and where the work will be done. (15 July) Not much progress yet.
Assess the facilities, equipment and resources that are needed and that are available. (15 July)
Much background work has been done for the environmental testing , the beam testing, and the GSE.

These are living documents to be updated weekly as the work proceed until the reviews.
