- Performed X-Ray CCD radiation damage experiments and analysis.
- Designed an X-Ray CCD calibration facility and used it to calibrate flight devices for the Japanese/US X-Ray astronomy Mission ASCA.
- Currently upgrading calibration facility for AXAF calibration.
- Participated in X-ray telescope/CCD calibration at facilities on White Sands Missile Range.
- Participated in integration tests for the satellite ASCA.
- Participated in flight calibration and debugging of X-Ray sensors aboard ASCA.
- Developed special instrument response models for a study of the Cosmic X-Ray Background with ASCA.
- Studied and modeled the instrumental background of detectors aboard ASCA
- Wrote UNIX shell script and programmed in FORTRAN and C.
